I am conducting a small research on relation of poor financial planning with quitting the job and looking for better perks. My understanding over the years remained that many of the people leave their jobs because they feel that their investments are becoming heavier and demanding and at the end of the month they are left with no money, even they end up having a lot of debts.

अपनी बिसात की जड़ें

इक अजनबी सी चाह लिये घूमते रहे,

ना वक्त की खबर रही ना खुद की बिसात की

किस ओर मुड़ गये कदम कभी बीच राह में,

मालूम अपने पाँव के छालों से ही पड़ा,

अक्सर तो हमें जानने वाला कोई ना था,

जो मिल भी गया सरेराह,

रुख फेर के चला गया, जैसे कि

वो अपना कोई ना था ।।

इक बिन ब्याहे ख्वाब सा चलता रहा यूंही

पूरी रात करवटें बदलता

वक्त की सिलवटों के बीच

किसी बेबस खामोशी में।।

चैन की सांस अब मय्यसर हो,

इसी इंतज़ार में

दुनिया के इसी मज़मे को

सुबह शाम देखता चला गया।।

कुछ बोलती खामोशी किसी बेज़ुबान की

दो कान आँख दुरुस्त लेकर भी

चलता चला गया।।

खुद की बिसात होगी क्या

इनकी ज़मीन पर

अपनी जड़ें मैं खुद ही अभी

खोज ना सका।।
